User Guide for LN Starter Fair Mint (formerly Lightning Starter)
Last updated
Updated as of 8 JAN 2024 This user guide aims to provide users with a demonstration of how to participate effectively in LN Starter Fair Mint.
There are 3 phases.
Phase 1: Participation Phase 2: Lottery Draw Phase 3: Claim Rewards
Users can only interact with the Fair Mint page when Phase 1 starts.
There are 12 launch pools. Each launch pool has its assigned hexadecimal character(s).
10 launch pools can be participated with $TREAT and/or $TRICK.
2 launch pools can be participated exclusively with the token from the preceding Fair Mint. - 1 launch pool with a single hexadecimal character - 1 launch pool with two hexadecimal characters
To take part in Phase 1, you need to have a minimum of 100 $TREAT and/or $TRICK or the preceding Fair Mint assets.
You can also view the total number of participants and the amount of locked assets in each pool.
With the Rank Overview column, you can swiftly assess the ranking and asset requirements in each pool.
For example, this summary tells you that you'd need over 9,312 assets to hit rank 50 in this pool. However, this amount will increase as existing participants increase their holdings or new participants join.
To participate, select a Zodiac pool.
Tap on Participate
Enter your desired amount of assets to lock.
Tap on Approve
And then Tap again to confirm Lock assets into the pool.
Done. You have successfully participated in a launch pool.
Only ONE Nostr address is allowed to participate in ONE launch pool. You will not be able to withdraw your Locked Assets from the participated pool when Fair Mint is in progress. Each Nostr address can only win once.
Users can check the Launch Pool Leaderboards to assess the ranking of participants and the assets requirement.
We recommend users check the Leaderboards before they make any decision on which pool to participate in.
To quickly check a certain rank, use the search bar and enter the desired ranking number you wish to learn more about.
There is a cooldown period of 10 minutes each time you lock your assets into the Launch Pool.
Before you increase your asset quantity in your participated pool, it is best to check the leaderboard and understand which rank position you are aiming for.
Tap on Increase Your Locked Assets to add more assets to your participated pool.
The ranking and asset requirement will increase as existing participants may increase their holdings or new participants join. Do consider this before deciding on the amount of assets you will be adding to your asset quantity.
Additionally, take note of the Phase 1 Countdown Timer!
When Phase 1 ends, you will no longer be able to participate or increase assets in your pool.
Despite our extensive preparations for a seamless experience, we anticipate a significant surge in network traffic in the last 30 minutes before the deadline.
It's crucial to avoid waiting until the final moments to participate or increase asset quantity.
At the end of Phase 1: Participation, 50% of the locked assets will be returned, and the remaining 50% will be refunded at the end of Phase 2: Lottery Draw.
Unlocking assets may take some time because the relays can't handle too many messages at once. We'll unlock assets in the order of participation. Roughly 300 participants' assets will be unlocked every minute. So if there are 50,000 participants, it'll take a few hours.
Phase 2 commences at the Bitcoinβs block number specified by the Fair Mint issuer.
To understand how winners are selected and the rewards calculation, please read our Fair Mint rules: Phase 2 Rules
Users will be able to see the real-time unveil of Block Hash and the Lucky winning pool on the Fair Mint Lottery Draw Page.
If you win in any block, you will see a Congratulations displayed on your screen with the respective Block that you won in. The amount of Airdrop won will also be displayed below.
Phase 2: Lottery Draw page will continue to unveil Block Hash and winning launch pools until the maximum number of winners has reached.
All eligible winners will be able to claim their rewards directly on the Fair Mint page.
Winners MUST claim their rewards within the announced duration. There will be no extension of the claim duration. Any unclaimed rewards will be returned to the Issuer at the end of the claim duration.
During Phase 3, the remaining locked assets will be returned to the respective participants.
